What we need from you

Reporting to our Commercial Manager, you will provide commercial expertise to aid with the delivery of the contracted work by taking the commercial lead in a geographical focused team. Our Senior Quantity Surveyors are responsible for the provision of accurate and timely commercial reports and advice to the management team, whilst ensuring the contract achieves the appropriate commercial targets.

  • You will need to be able to provide or obtain the right to work in the UK.
  • You will need to be able to drive and provide or obtain a full UK Driving Licence to travel across our projects, this is predominantly a site-based role to support our projects in the North East area
  • Are you an experienced construction Senior Quantity Surveyor or looking for that step up in your commercial career?
  • Be able to demonstrate experience in leading a team on commercial projects.
  • Convey client-facing experience as being the lead Quantity Surveyor.
  • Be able to ensure the project and programme contract, cost, quality and time targets are met
  • Make certain prompt and regular submission of main contract payment applications and ensure that subcontractor payments are dealt with fairly and in accordance with subcontract terms.
  • Preferably, you will be RICS accredited.
  • Have a real passion for the industry and want to deliver exceptionally, the places where we live, learn, work, play, care and protect.
