πŸ‘©β€πŸ« Using the Knowledge Quad, we have delivered two rounds of CSCS card training, where ten Greenwich residents successfully obtained their CSCS card

🏒 The Knowledge Quad was used by LSEC for Quantity Surveying lessons again.

🏒 Delivered a 14-week study programme from March to June 2024 to 11 Greenwich NEET young people.

🏒 Delivered a 14-week accredited construction apprenticeship programme to 11 Greenwich NEET young people..

🏒 The Knowledge Quad is being used by Shooters Hill for the Level 2 Multi Skills lessons.

Wider community engagement

  • This month we met with GLLaB and STC Training Group to discuss a Bootcamp for young people using our Knowledge Quad. STC Group and GLLaB will explore funding for young people.
  • We met with LSEC (London South East Colleges) to discuss Quantity Surveying lessons and site visits for the students.
  • On Friday 10th January, LSEC commenced their Quantity Surveying lessons from our Knowledge Quad again.
  • We met with Shooters Hill College to discuss new dates for using the Knowledge Quad and void flats on site compound. Shooters Hill college will start delivering their Level 2 Multi Skills lessons again from Thursday 6th February.
  • We met with OCL FaΓ§ade to discuss supporting their award-winning Gils Can Built To programme.
  • OCL are keen to bring Morgan Sindall on board to deliver this programme in Greenwich. School and delivery dates to be confirmed.
  • On the 24th of January we supported Enterprise & Careers week at Royal Greenwich Trust School in Woolwich by delivering a career in construction talk to 60 students. We spoke to Year Group 8 about roles, 'a day-in-the-life' of an employee and pathways into our business.
  • We met with Coventry University Greenwich Campus to discuss apprenticeship courses the Greenwich Campus offers and how we could potentially collaborate with the university.
  • This month we met with Rewise to discuss and explore how we can support further STEM delivery in Greenwich.
