Welcome to the October 2024 newsletter for the Zone 29 Project, which will provide you with up-to-date information on the build and upcoming opportunities.
Progress to date
- Steel work installation on-going.
- Roofing works progressing.
- Window installation well progressed.
- Internal fit out has commenced including walls and MEPH.
Employment, Skills & Training
- We have created one job since starting the project
- We have two apprentices working on the project
- Since February, we have had a T-Level Student from the City of Westminster College on a 45-day industrial placement with Morgan Sindall’s Site Management team.
- We have a graduate on a paid placement
- We have provided two people with a paid placement.
- Various student site visits carried out from UOW.
- TO DATE: we have delivered 11 educational events, engaged 169 students, and invested 65 hours.
What’s coming up
- Continuation of internal fit out -Completion of new structure -Commence ground works -Delivery of large M+E plant.
