'Continuing Personal Development' event held at SPECS site

This week, Central Piling Limited were invited down to site to deliver a Continuing Personal Development (CPD) event to the SPECS project team as well as BDP (Building Design Partnership Ltd), and Faithful+Gould teams.

Apprentices, graduates and employees all received a theory-based presentation on foundation techniques, design practices and monitoring methods, before an on-site demonstration where they could all see the piling process and technology within the rig in action.

The same CPD event was delivered to Civil Engineering students from the University of Hertfordshire in the afternoon, when undergraduates and masters students received a run through on the various equipment used, health and safety, and the importance of quality assurance. It was brilliant to see lots of questions asked by the engaged students in attendance. A big thank you to the Central Piling Limited team for the informative presentations!
