Scottish Apprenticeship Week – Meet Scott

Scott’s journey started with a pre-apprenticeship in August 2021 through our Shared Apprenticeship Scheme and Joint Venture with Tigers. Through Scott’s pre-apprenticeship he gained practical skills alongside certification in Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels, Vehicle Marshalling, Working at Heights, Asbestos Awareness, 1 Day Health & Safety and his CSCS card.

His Modern Apprenticeship then began as an apprentice of our Joint Venture in November 2021 which led to his successful achievement in Construction and Civil Engineering Operations: General Construction at SCQF Level 5 and full-time employment at Dalcon!

We were delighted to have Scott work on the Maybole Community Campus project with Dalcon, before continuing his career with Dalcon on projects across Scotland.
