About the project

Kingsway to the Sea, aims to regenerate the underused, aging facilities and green spaces on the seafront in West Hove. The project will feature a new park stretching from Hove Lagoon to King Alfred Leisure Centre. A new, accessible route will run through most of the park which means people will not need to go onto Kingsway or the Esplanade.

The park will have activity and relaxation spaces, with opportunities for both sport and leisure, including new gardens as oasis areas. The park was designed with a target to deliver 20% Biodiversity Net Gain compared to the existing site.

You can find out more about our appointment to the project in this press release or visit Kingsway to the Sea (brighton-hove.gov.uk)

Working in the West Hove Community

Making a positive difference in the communities we work is a vital part of our responsible business plan. Our Community Investment Group supports our project teams in the delivery of local community engagement projects. The Southern Home Counties team is part of the wider London & Home Counties business unit, which operates out of 4 regional offices, the Brighton office being associated with this project.

Rob Hendley, Project Manager, is the dedicated community contact for KTTS and will maintain communications with neighbours and the surrounding community.
