Community engagement and sustainability

  • The site now has many apprentices working for different sub-contractors, learning trades such as bricklaying and carpentry.
  • Two work placement students are due to commence their second block at the beginning of July.
  • The site team are preparing for the next Morgan Sindall “10 tonne challenge” - a dedicated week where project teams are challenged to work with their supply chain to reduce their carbon output by a minimum of 10 tonnes.
  • We've engaged with local school who have produced drawings for display on the site hoarding.
  • Two work experience bricklaying students have now been offered full time employment by a local bricklaying company.
