In June, Technical Lead John Paterson and Social Value Manager Trish McCluskey participated in Developing the Young Workforce Dumfries & Galloway’s first Bang Goes DG event since 2019.

The hugely successful STEM interactive show event aims to not only inform young people about what Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) actually are and how they are involved in numerous sectors, but also to showcase the many opportunities that exist around them in Dumfries & Galloway.

The Morgan Sindall team had a fantastic day highlighting the array of STEM opportunities to the young people, and helping some of the 800+ S1-S3 students navigate the digital model of our Maybole Community Campus project using VR headsets.

Thank you for coming to support our pupils find out more about thriving sectors and their future careers – Gillian Brydson, Director of Skills, Education and Learning, Dumfries & Galloway Council
