Following the success of Safety Week in April, the Morgan Sindall Construction SHE team has organised a series of events for Health Week, taking place from 5 - 9 July 2021.

The majority of the events are open to all, regardless of whether you are already a Morgan Sindall Construction employee or part of our supply chain, and have been designed to help you to support your own and your teams' health and wellbeing. Please see the descriptions for the exceptions, as these events relate to products only available to our employees and supply chain.

Balancing everyday life with the requirements of work and home can create pressures for all of us. Health Assured provides our employees and supply chain with complimentary access to an enhanced EAP (Employee Assistance Programme) to assist you in achieving this balance. This session will provide you with a broad overview of the services available including both emotional and the practical support. In this session Andrew Bickers, SHE Manager for the East and Karen Godfrey, SHE Manager for Yorkshire and North East, will be delivering the Building Mental Health Bronze Toolbox talk to our employees and supply chain. This event is open to all: Tuesday 6 July, 3:00 - 4:00pm

The Future of Hand Arm Vibration Management

The Future of Hand Arm Vibration Management, an introduction to HAVSense and the HAVs exposure assessment system with guest speaker Keith Phillips from HAVSCO. This event is open to all: Wednesday 7 July, 10:30 - 11:30am

Perform: How to effectively manage stress

We all know that sleep is importance for our mental and physical health and wellbeing. Dr Guy Meadows, works for Sleep School, and in this session will be discussing the importance of sleep, how to deal with daytime stress that can impact our sleep and how to detach work from home. This event is open to all: Wednesday 7 July, 12:00 - 1:00pm

Driving for work.

As we all spend more time behind the wheel than ever before, understanding the pressures this places on us both physically and mentally is essential. This webinar will provide some practical tips and hints to safe and more comfortable driving. This session will be delivered by a guest speaker from Medigold Health. This event is open to all: Thursday 8 July, 11:00am - 12:00pm
